Purpose & transparency

About this study resource

PL-300 Exam Prep by Melarks was created to help working Power BI analysts turn practical experience into focused certification readiness.

Why it exists

Day-to-day Power BI work can make an analyst strong in some areas while leaving gaps in features they rarely use. This site deliberately covers both core concepts and less-common exam topics such as paginated reports, dashboards and tiles, AI visuals, advanced analytics, permissions and Service governance.

Who created it

The resource was created by MeLarks, a Power BI practitioner. It is designed from a practitioner's perspective but uses general analyst scenarios rather than one industry's workflow. Find MeLarks on LinkedIn at Joseph Salem Mensah-Larkai if you care to reach out.

How to use it

Study a module, answer its immediate-feedback questions, review formulas, revisit weak topics, then use the timed mock mode to practice without answer feedback until submission.

Your study progress stays on your device/browser

The site uses your browser's localStorage to remember completed practice questions, whether the saved attempt was correct, your theme preference, and recent mock-exam results.

Important: this progress is not an account and is not cloud-synced. If you switch devices or browsers, use private/incognito mode, clear browser/site data, or reset progress, the other browser will not automatically show the same progress.

Not a replacement for Microsoft Learn

This resource is a companion for revision and practice. It does not replace the official Microsoft Learn material, the current PL-300 study guide, Microsoft's exam sandbox, or Microsoft's own practice assessment. Product features and exam objectives can change, so learners should always verify the current skills measured before scheduling an exam.

Independent Microsoft disclaimer

This is an independent study resource and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Microsoft. Microsoft, Power BI, Microsoft Learn, and PL-300 are names and trademarks used here only to identify the certification and product being studied.

The practice questions on this site are original educational questions. They are not represented as live exam questions or confidential Microsoft exam content.

Curriculum baseline

The initial release is aligned to the Microsoft PL-300 skills measured published for April 20, 2026. Because the certification evolves, the site should be reviewed against Microsoft's current study guide periodically.
